Brennan House


Brennan House is an 8 bed facility for youth aged 15-18 years with complex mental health issues. Staff at Brennan House develop individualized treatment plans to support or enhance youth with their integration into the community. Youth have barrier free access to the Mental Health Clinician as well as individualized and clinically informed care.

Brennan House is a warm, home-like atmosphere for youth aged 15-18 years with complex mental health issues.

Youth have barrier-free access to a mental health clinician. Support workers offer coaching to help manage mental health symptoms and provide 24-hour help with medication management and mental health concerns.

Working together, staff and youth develop treatment plans to support their integration into the community. Residents are given responsibility for establishing personal goals, completing their education, undertaking job skill training or finding employment.

  • Assignment to a youth support worker to encourage residents’ strength and aid in establishing personal goals
  • Life and social skills training
  • Access to after care
  • Access to the Youth Trustee Program helping with financial aid for educational purposes
