Young parents aged 21 and younger, who are confronted with enormous responsibilities as they raise their babies, live in one of 15 fully furnished, subsidized transitional housing apartments. Originally opened as Angela’s Place, it was renamed Regina’s Place in June 2017 as a tribute to the memory of the late Sister Regina Brunelle.

All of our services and supports are focused on helping families secure housing in a timely manner. Shelter diversion and eviction prevention services are also available to families that qualify. Our specialized housing staff work with each family to create a housing plan with a 30-day goal.

The Centre has since become a beacon of hope and a place of shelter, sustenance and spiritual healing for thousands of individuals. Services offered; emergency overnight accommodation for up to 54 clients including meals and laundry services, overflow spaces for up to 10 clients, case management and referrals to appropriate community resources.
Details about The Good Shepherd Centre & Daily Meals 905-528-9109The Transitional Beds Program is for high-risk patients after hospitalization and offers; 10-bed medical discharge program for adults, short-term care to support medical stabilization and recovery from acute illness or a medical condition, help facilitating timely hospital discharges, improved patient outcomes, including the potential for decreased re-admission to hospital and the emergency department, service to patients who, upon discharge from hospital, will be homeless, precariously housed, or facing a variety of circumstances that will significantly limit their access to health and community services.
