Temporary Barton Tiffany Shelter
The Barton-Tiffany Temporary Shelter is a new emergency shelter service for up to 80 people who are currently living in encampments. The program, operated by Good Shepherd Centres, is available to individuals, couples and people with pets. The goal of this shelter is to offer a safe and respectful community environment where residents can work toward stable housing and other personal goals.

The Barton-Tiffany Temporary Shelter is a new temporary emergency shelter service for up to 80 people who are currently living in encampments. The program, operated by Good Shepherd Centres, is available to individuals, couples and people with pets. The goal of this shelter is to offer a safe and respectful community environment where residents can work toward stable housing and other personal goals.
Access to the Barton-Tiffany Temporary Shelter is restricted to shelter residents, staff and community service providers only.
What We Offer:
• Individual and double occupancy cabins furnished with single beds, table and chairs, television, and fridge
• Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
• 24/7 on-site staff support
• Washrooms and showers
• Laundry facilities
• Community spaces
Program Support:
• Housing-focused supports and services
• Advocacy and referral
• On-site physical and mental health care
• Harm reduction resources and supports
• On-site visits from community health and social service providers
• Pet care, including initial and ongoing veterinary care, pet supplies, food, and opportunities for training
• Access to clothing, hygiene products, etc.
• Assistance with attending off-site appointments and meetings
• Social and community-building programs and events
