Emergency Clothing Program

The Emergency Clothing Program provides cost-free help for families and individuals in need. If you need to use our services, please call us at 905-972-9485 for info and visit in person to register for the program. Please bring I.D. for all household members when you register. Registration hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Program hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Emergency Food Program (Venture Centre)

The Good Shepherd Venture Centre Emergency Food Program is a dignified, efficient and safe space where emergency food and clothing is easily accessible for clients. If you have questions about the food & clothing program, please call us at 905.972.9485. All new registrations must sign up in person. Registration hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. *Please bring I.D. for all household members with proof of address when you register in person.

Grocery and program hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Notre Dame House

Good Shepherd Notre Dame House is committed to helping youth who are street-involved or homeless due to family violence, conflict, abuse, neglect, poverty and exposure to mental health and addiction issues. Our goal is to ensure that they have the support they need to overcome obstacles and break down barriers to become active and contributing members of our community.

Seniors at Risk in Hamilton (SaRiH)

Seniors at Risk in Hamilton (SaRiH), facilitates timely interventions and offers supports for seniors impacted by issues such as dementia, abuse/exploitation, mental and physical health challenges, precarious housing, food insecurity and social isolation.

The Good Shepherd Centre

The Good Shepherd Centre & Daily Meals

The Good Shepherd Centre was established in 1961 as a men’s shelter. The Centre has since become a beacon of hope and a place of shelter, sustenance and spiritual healing for thousands of individuals. Services offered; emergency overnight accommodation for up to 54 clients including meals and laundry services, overflow spaces for up to 10 clients, case management and referrals to appropriate community resources.
